Asus
As this screenshot of the Asus Warranty Extension Program terms shows, the company specifies that product damage caused by "space invasions" is not covered. (Highlighting added to image.)

Whoever is tasked with writing out the terms of Asus'?warranty extension program must either have quite a sense of humor or know something the rest of us don't?? because he or she made sure to explain that damage caused by space invasions isn't covered under the warranty agreement.
The quirky detail was brought to attention by blogs such as Gizmodo and Pingdom?and it still remains listed on Asus' website:
Furthermore, the warranty will not apply to or be valid under conditions including but not limited to the following:
[...]
- There is damage caused by natural disaster, intentional or unintentional misuse, acts of war, space invasions, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or use under abnormal conditions
We have reached out to Asus to see if this seemingly silly detail was added on the recommendation of the company's legal team or if a joker slipped it in somehow. We have also asked whether damage caused by other peculiar or paranormal incidents?? such as zombie or vampire attacks?? is also excluded from coverage.
