College Basketball Polls: Stanford Highest Ranked Pac-12 Team At No. 28 In AP Poll, No. 31 In Coaches Poll

Apparently a sweep of the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans isn't worth much these days. In a down year for the Pac-12 Conference, the conference is without a team in the top 25 for the fifth consecutive week. The latest college basketball polls are out, and the Stanford Cardinal actually dropped in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, from No. 30 to No. 31.

Stanford had a pair of home wins over the weekend, beating UCLA 60-59 on Thursday and topping USC 51-43 on Saturday, but all that did was drop the 12-2 Cardinal one spot. Here is the coaches poll top 10:

1. Syracuse (30 first place votes)
2. Kentucky (one first place vote)
3. Duke
4. North Carolina
5. Baylor
6. Missouri
7. Ohio State
8. Connecticut
9. Georgetown
10. Louisville

Stanford is the only Pac-12 team to receive any votes at all in the coaches poll.
