Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders perform for troops in Asia

U.S. troops in Asia got an early dose of cheer this holiday season.

For the 73rd time, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders embarked on a USO tour to perform for soldiers stationed overseas. A group of 12 cheerleaders made stops to U.S. bases in Japan and South Korea, visiting 21 installations and putting on six shows from Dec. 13-22, according to the USO's website.

"We all want to spend time with our family and loved ones for the holidays," cheerleader Ally Taylor told USO.org. "But for many of our men and women in uniform that's not possible. That's why we wanted to make sure we touched as many military families as possible."
