Manager, Marketing and Communications
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible to develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive and integrated communications strategy and marketing plan that focuses on short-term and long-term strategies, tracks trends, and benchmarks against similar institutions. This position is responsible for the communication and management of information to both internal and external constituencies in terms of data reporting and analysis, web development, social media and all print materials.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
?? Develop College of Professional and Liberal Studies (CPLS) Banner reports, using Oracle Discoverer, to provide programmatic information for effective data-driven decisions. Provide statistical analysis of student enrollment, course enrollments, and other areas involving recruitment and retention for Professional and Liberal Studies and other academic departments within university.
?? Research, write, and oversee recruitment, admissions, and yield efforts including recruitment publications and correspondence, electronic communication for all of CPLS.
?? Oversight of all CPLS Enterprise Resource technology .
?? Oversee the extraction of names and mailing lists.
?? Oversee the PLS website, having total responsibility for ongoing content management.
?? Create and manage annual production schedule for all social media sites operated by CPLS.
?? Diagnose and troubleshoot website operational problems such as broken links or file directory, or applications problems.
?? Manage the organization of communication projects and advertising initiatives with the outside advertising agency including the implementation of procedures, time schedules and proofreading for CPLS.
