Lucy Hale Signs Recording Contract

We already know she can scream. Lucy Hale has certainly proved that throughout two-plus seasons of Pretty Little Liars.

But did you know the actress once competed on American Idol spinoff American Juniors and can seriously sing, too? Fans will soon hear for themselves because Hale has signed a contract with Hollywood Records.

She's expected to release an album in the fall of 2013.

"I'm overjoyed and honored to become a member of the Hollywood Records family," Hale said in a statement. "I've admired the careers they've made and can't wait to see how my musical path is paved out."

The adorable actress, who is dating actor Chris Zylka, also thanked "everyone involved for giving me the chance to show a whole different side of myself, which is a huge passion for music."
