MTV's fiercest bad girl, Kristin Cavallari, and her football-player beau, Jay Cutler, are engaged again.
"The Hills" alum confirmed the news Wednesday on Twitter. "This time it's official..Jay and I are engaged again," she wrote.
News of a possible reconciliation between the onetime "Dancing With The Stars" competitor and the Chicago Bears quarterback first hit the rumor mill earlier this month when Life & Style reported that the twosome had decided to give it another go after ending their first engagement over the summer.
However, at the time, the couple denied they had set the wedding wheels back in motion. Us Weekly reports that Cavallari was spotted Tuesday in Los Angeles wearing the 5.2-carat engagement ring he had given her for their first engagement.
The couple announced their original engagement in April when he popped the question during a vacation in Mexico. However, the first engagement ended only months later in July. The two had reportedly been deep in wedding planning when they called it off.
"She got dumped. She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening," a source said at the time. "She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location — everything was set. She's in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way."
Back before she decided to settle down with Cutler, Cavallari had been one of reality TV's greatest players. During her time on "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," she spent her time with guys like Justin Bobby, Brody Jenner and Stephen Colletti.
